The Masterplan provides a framework for the following town centre uses:
Up to 2,500 new homes
Up to 15,000 sqm of flexible town centre uses, such as shops, bars, restaurants and community space
Up to 50,000 sqm of office workspace*
A series of public, landscaped spaces
*The proposals focus on new homes, retail, restaurant and landscaped public spaces. However, there is flexibility for up to 50,000 sqm of office space should this be required in the future.

The proposals will include high-quality, flexible new space for shops, restaurants and town centre uses, which will support the existing High Street.
This approach will help to sustain this part of the town centre for years to come, providing modern shops and restaurants in this central, accessible location. We understand from our Stage 1 consultation that this is a key priority for many Slough residents.
The new town centre uses will create long-lasting, positive economic impacts through the creation of new jobs and increased footfall and spending at local businesses.
